1968 Stant Lev-R-Vent Radiator Cap

59 Posted by Hello This wa originaly bought for restoring a car. Since that didnt happen my mechanic just tried it on the Jeep, as the Jeep radiator cap was not in good condition. Somehow this fits the Jeep raditor.
"A tab on the bottom of the lever interlocks with the filler neck to prevent removal of the cap until the lever is lifted. When the lever is lifted, the entire pressure valve is lifted off the lower sealing seat in the filler neck, harmlessly venting pressure through the overflow tube. " - Source www.stant.com

The New Colour

53 Posted by Hello The first view of the new colour. Only one coat has been applied. The colour is "Etna Gey" from Asian Paints. We tried Steel Grey, Emerald Green and Eta Grey. After putting Etna Grey , we knew this had to be the colour of the Jeep. Later I was told that this is the acutal colour of the Willys Jeep.
